ITMO collaborates with over 360 companies to send its students for internships and practical training.
The student career center implements ITMO.HUNTER and ITMO.Case projects and actively assists in the employment of ITMO students and graduates.
Employment assistance
Each of the 27 bachelor's programs and 80 master's programs ITMO has collaborates with several large companies that offer internships and practical training opportunities for ITMO students and graduates. After successfully completing their internships, students often secure permanent positions.
The university also has a Career Center that regularly publishes current job vacancies from employers, offers free individual consultations, and provides information on employment for foreign citizens.
Additionally, ITMO runs a mentoring program, which includes one-time individual consultations and long-term mentoring. Here, alumni mentors share their unique experiences with students and new graduates of ITMO, helping them develop a personal or professional growth plan.
Where graduates work
Sberbank
ITMO and Sberbank collaborate on the Digital Urban Studies program to train master's students in data analysis and urban process modeling. They also offer a master's program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, with graduates taking leading roles in the Sberbank Robotics Center.
Yandex
ITMO's partnership with Yandex includes a joint master's educational program, an accelerated bachelor's program with Yandex Practicum, a summer school on Software Engineering, and a scholarship support program for the best students of the Information Technologies and Programming Faculty.
Gazprom Neft
Gazprom Neft and ITMO have established a unique scientific and educational center called Gazprom Neft-ITMO, where work in the laboratories helps students acquire the competencies necessary to start their careers. ITMO offers a partnered master's program on Software Development.
VK company
VK primarily invests in new technologies and develops digital content services. ITMO and VK have launched a joint corporate master's program in Distributed Web Services. As part of their practical training, students work on real case studies from VKontakte.
