Employment assistance
More than 150 large enterprises, institutions, and organizations are strategic partners of DSTU. 21 corporate departments have been created and operate jointly with partner companies and enterprises. Educational programs are developed in cooperation with the employer, practical training facilities are provided, and most graduates are already employed by the time they complete their training under the program. DSTU implements a project-based learning format, within which students solve process tasks of companies and enterprises, which allows graduates to gain the knowledge and competencies necessary for successful employment and further career. 78% of DSTU graduates are employed.

Rostselmash (RSM) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery. RSM and DSTU established the Rostselmash Institute of Advanced Mechanical Engineering, the advanced engineering school. At the company’s request, students perform R&D and can be employed at RSM.

ASKON is the largest Russian developer of engineering software. ASCON's customers are more than 16,000 industrial enterprises. A partnership agreement has been signed between DSTU and ASCON in the field of engineering personnel training
