RTU MIREA has set up a Career Center to help students and graduates in their career orientation, employment, and development of skills and competencies. RTU MIREA cooperates with over 300 employers and holds over a hundred career-related events annually, like Career Days, company visits, professional contests, hackathons, etc.
Employment assistance
Together with its partners, the University organizes internships and traineeships for students and graduates in Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosatom, Rostelecom, Sberbank, Yandex, Beeline, Kaspersky Lab, Russian Railways, and others. Students also work at the departments and laboratories of the University.
The students’ social networks publish announcements of vacancies and internship offers from various employers.
Starting from their 3rd year, students are allowed to work as long as 20 hours a week, trying themselves in a future job. There are opportunities for students to receive training from career producers and psychologists to develop their hard and soft skills.
RTU MIREA’s Technopark is an opportunity for potential applicants to familiarize themselves with the advanced technology and to enroll in continuing education classes. Each Technopark class is aligned with a university program, thus enabling high school students to learn the basics of their future specialization.
