About the training program
In the course of study in this profile students receive comprehensive and deep knowledge of the current state and prospects of non-ferrous, rare and noble metals in our country and abroad; study theories and technologies of industrial methods of production of non-ferrous, rare and noble metals from various types of ore, technogenic and secondary raw materials with the use of modern processes that determine scientific and technological progress.
What do graduates do?
Graduates-metallurgists will be able to work in the largest domestic companies producing non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, nickel, zinc), at enterprises producing gold, silver and platinum metals, participate in technological and design developments of leading research centers and institutes in such positions as: technologist, designer, researcher, manager, etc.
