About the University
Established in 1944 as a high school for training future diplomats, today, over its 80-year history, MGIMO has evolved from a purely “diplomatic high school” to a full-facetted humanitarian university offering both graduate and undergraduate degree programs, as well as PhD, MBA, Executive MBA courses and pre-university tutorial school. The University structure comprises 14 schools and institutes, a Lyceum and a College MGIMO offers 112 degree programs in 18 areas of study: international relations, foreign area studies, political science, law, economics, journalism, advertising and public relations, management, state and municipal administration, business informatics, commerce, tourism, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, linguistics, ecology and natural resource management.

Outpatient Clinic
A student’s acquaintance with the outpatient clinic begins at the stage of preparation for entrance exams since all applicants undergo a medical examination at the MGIMO clinic.
MGIMO Cultural Center
The Cultural Center includes 11 creative schools led by top-level professionals to develop students’ artistic talents.
Every student of the University can try themselves in any of the schools and take part in the events held by the Cultural Center.
Swimming Pool
The size of the swimming pool is 25m; it has 6 lanes.
The balcony can accommodate 50 people.

Gym
Designed for bodybuilding and fitness for both professional athletes and newcomers.
Multi-purpose Sports Hall
The hall is designed for holding sports competitions in various sports and has markings for futsal, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton.
Dormitory
Out-of-town students (graduate students, interns, etc.) studying full-time at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation are provided with dormitory accommodation only subject to the availability of places, according to the Regulations on the Student Dormitory
