About the training program
In the course of study in this specialization students learn the basics of geodesy, theory of mathematical processing of geodetic measurements, geodetic astronomy, higher geodesy, topography, cartography, photogrammetry, applied geodesy, engineering-geodetic surveys, space geodesy and geodynamics, satellite systems and positioning technologies, geoinformation systems and technologies, automated methods of engineering-geodetic works, modern problems of geodetic network equalization.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of this specialization have the opportunity to work in the following positions: engineer-geodesist in large construction companies, such as JSC “Avtodor St. Petersburg”, LLC GC “CDS” and others. ; leading engineer at the enterprises in the field of complex engineering surveys, in topographic-geodetic departments of scientific and production enterprises, such as LLC “NPP ‘BENTA’, LLC ‘Guild of Geodesists’, etc.; leading geodesist and cadastral engineer in geodetic and cadastral companies, such as LLC ‘LenOblKadastr’, LLC ‘Promgeodesia’, GC ‘Morion’, etc.; leading geodesist and cadastral engineer at the enterprises in the field of complex engineering surveys.
