In the course of study for this specialization students learn modern methods of performing high-precision surveys of objects and methods of data processing of various kinds. They get acquainted with the systems of development of deposits by open and underground methods, learn methods of prevention of harmful effects of underground developments on surface and underground objects and study means of ensuring safety at mining enterprises, as well as get skills in the basics of three-dimensional modeling of spatial objects and mathematical modeling of processes occurring in rock massifs.
